I'm a 26 year old guy living in London. Pretty laid back but like to go out and do things. If it's a nice day I try and spend it outside. Am into sports and other leisure activities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently living at home with my parents and we have a spare bed-room. My parents are often away and it would be good to host a few people now and again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was away in Poland with some friends and they where due to go home. I was planning on staying out in Poland, travel around and just staying in hostels. My friend told me about couch-surfing so I got involved.

I was travelling alone and pretty flexible on arrangements. It was great to me up with host, as they knew the city and local places where to go-out, eat, and see.

For the one-month that I was travelling, I had to pay for one night in a hostel, only because I didn't have a phone and so couldn't get hold of my host.

For me couch-surfing, made the trip because otherwise I might have joined a group of backpackers and get sucked in their circle. Instead, I stayed with lovely people, eat local food, tried to speak the local language and had a really good time!

My experience was really positive and I would highly recommend it.
