About Me
Bonjour! I'm a French Canadian who's been calling London home for nearly 8 years. I'm a serial entrepreneur: my first business was a womenswear label, and I now run a vegan yoghurt brand called La Crèmerie. I'm now looking at starting my own ecstatic dance classes and events in East London.
I'm a very active person: I train for triathlons and also enjoy yoga, scuba-diving and rock climbing. I'm an avid cyclist and my Bobbin bike is my main transportation mode around London.
I'm a vegetarian (mostly vegan) and a Buddhist. Spirituality has always been an important part of my life. I meditate every day and try to be mindful in everything that I do. I'm also very environmentally-aware and I make a lot of efforts to live a low carbon lifestyle (ex. eating plant-based, buying things second-hand, avoiding plastic, etc).
I'm a hard-working person, but once the work day is over, I like to enjoy myself and discover what life has to offer! My friends would describe me as friendly, curious, adventurous and sensitive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is the best way of travelling, especially as solo traveller. It allows you to truly get immersed in a country's culture and meet locals.
I discovered Couchsurfing in Italy when I was traveling by myself on the weekends and wanted to see other places without spending too much. I had such good a experience (warm hosts, welcoming appartments, great nights out and even guided tours!) that I decided to give back by hosting travellers.
I used to host when I was living in Montréal and had a large living-room, but here in London I live in a flat with no living-room and therefore cannot host for the moment. But I'm alway up for meeting new people so I can show fellow Couchesurfers around or simply meet for a coffee.
