I live with my partner in Chicago just west of downtown. We like to dance, cook together, have read-a-loud sessions, and play cards. We love camping and being outdoors. I work at a small non-profit with high school and college students learning about social systems and injustices. My partner is a teacher at a middle school on the west side.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoyed couchsurfing during my year studying abroad in Europe, and my hosts were very welcoming and helpful. I hope to share that same sense of hospitality with those I meet here in the States.

I volunteer with the Chicago Community Bond Fund getting folks out of pre-trial incarceration and ensuring folks are FREE.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach someone how to ride a bike, pick out a stellar cantaloupe, or cook a delicious vegetarian meal. I'd love to learn to knit and break dance.
