About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To use my gifts and talents to serve others, particularly those given little to no voice in our society.
ABOUT ME
I’m warm, funny, compassionate, dependable and a great listener. I love sports, especially basketball, and would much rather play than watch. I spent my junior year of college living in England and have a soft spot for things British. I love listening to live music and really enjoy shows at the River to River Festival in Lower Manhattan, Prospect Park and the Red Lion. I'm happiest when I'm at the beach, meandering through NYC, watching a sunrise or sunset, writing or sharing a good meal with family and friends.
PHILOSOPHY
Treats others how you wish to be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a couchsurfing newbie. My currest living situation doesn't allow me to host guests but I'm a native New Yorker who loves playing tour guide and sharing hidden gems.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Anything that makes me laugh, think or teaches me something. My favorite movie is "It's a Wonderful Life". Music: Rock & folk generally, both past & present. Last concert attended was Crosby & Nash (great show despite lacking Stills & Young!). Books: I read everything! Currently working on "Bel Canto" by Ann Patchet. Going to brush up on the last 2 Harry Potters after that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunrise over the Atlantic, Sacre Coeur in Paris, Il Gesu in Rome. My first hike ever was Half Dome in Yosemite.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to practice my French and would be more than happy to help others with their English.
