About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take in as much as I can while I'm here. I want to be constantly overwhelmed by my travels.

ABOUT ME

Nothing makes me happier than being a hostess (blame it on my southern upbringing). Looking forward to being a friend to travelers passing through my city. I intend to travel as far and as long as my legs can take me.

**Currently living in County Carlow, Ballon Village working as an au pair. I am an open minded, curious, and gentle-natured person in general, though I have fears and inhibitions that sometimes restrict me from pushing myself as much as I want to. Traveling and growing in an entirely different setting will hopefully assist me in breaking those barriers as well as reenforce my belief that we are all interconnected at our core.

PHILOSOPHY

"We are are here to awaken from the illusion of our separateness."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to make traveling easier for folks. Money is the only thing that holds us back. What's better than having one less expense? Here's to proving that we all are connected and that the world is still full of people willing to help each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 15, I helped rebuild an orphanage in Athens, Greece. At the time I was traveling with a church group and felt very uncomfortable "witnessing" to people on the street... I was lucky enough to get in with a group of guys welding and working on this house... It was an incredible learning experience for me and the outcome was well worth the effort.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a thing or two about anthropology, native american studies, and archaeology. I know 22 years worth about relating to others, keeping an open mind, personal growth, and effective communication. I have experience, though limited, in backpacking, gardening, decorating, cooking, and taking care of animals.

Germany, Greece, Spain
