About Me

I'm currently on a solo road trip across the United States making a self funded series of documentaries. It's a bit of a learn as I go sort of thing and all that more amazing for it.

My plan is to interview women from across the United States that are between 29 - 32 (needed to limit the demographic somehow) about their lives, how they got there, and where they are going in hopes of creating a platform for others to learn about the diverse perspectives of this country in which they are otherwise not exposed to. Just trying to break down some boarders and show people that just because we are all different doesn't make any one sort better than the other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, you can imagine that traveling for 3 months would be expensive. So staying with wonderful people is a great way to save some money and meet new, wonderful people.

Aside from that, I joined couchsurfing.com a few years back while I was living in Switzerland and wanted to make some friends. I've had many people stay with me and now I'm hoping that I can stay with a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into zombie movies... really. Books, I like the classics, Tolstoy, Wilde, Poe, Verne, Twain... Not really into that Twilight/Harry Potter thing.

Music.... Bad Religion, The Vandals, No Use For a Name, Alkaline Trio, The Cure, Jimmy Eat World, GY!BE, Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, The Killers, Blur, Radiohead, about 1000 other bands too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Teach, Learn, Share

If the bear is black, make noise and run at it. If the bear is brown and has a big lump on it's neck, climb the highest thing you can. If the bear is brown with no lump, it's a really a black bear that has light fur.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A little part of this adventure. I hate calling it my adventure because so many people have already been involved and I expect so many more will be involved in the future. And... If you want some photos of really anything taken, I'd be happy to take some.

Countries I’ve Visited
