ABOUT ME

I'm from California originally and went to college in Seattle. I earned my Master's in Teaching and moved to Spain and have been working/living here for the past 2 years. I teach at a bilingual school and spend my spare time traveling. I am currently back living in Seattle and am interested to start hosting in my hometown :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed for the first time in Chicago and it was amazing. Since I have surfed in Budapest and Mallorca. Can't wait to do it more!

Interests

I love traveling and meeting fun people who are down for a good time. For fun I read, craft, and drink fancy beer :) I also train/play roller derby and am very active. I'm passionate about teaching and education and love life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when I was on Mykonos, Greece, I was traveling alone on the off season and went into a restaurant to get some food. I ended up being befriended by the owners and their kids and spent the rest of my time hanging out with them. They brought me to Easter Mass, took me around the island, and were so warm and inviting and I was a mere stranger. It was a moment of pure humanity. A different time when I was in Tangier with a girl friend, we tried to go to an Arabic bathhouse and without getting into too much detail, we ended up being flashed and learned rough French really fast. Awestruck; definitely awestruck.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can sew, cook, make crafts, play roller derby (roller skate), and run. I am a teacher, so I suppose I have a lot to offer.
