I am a pharmacist part time in the day, but an artist and a seeker in my free time. I have always dabbled in dance, but the last 8 years spent alot of time focusing on middle eastern dance. I am well versed in energy medicine and am starting to teach a combination of bellydance and chakra balancing. Astrology is another passion, and I have studied that for 20 years. I love to meet new friends from around the world. Currently, at work, there are alot of russians, so I am trying to pick up the language. I actually adopted a cat from Ukraine (yes he has a passport, lol). You can see us in the viral video on youtube called "Cat interrupts bellydancer".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently met a wonderful artist named Erin Hilleary at the Las Olas Art fest. We had an immediate connection and she and her 4 year old spent 2 days surfing on my couch. I was a fun and wonderful experience - she opened up my eyes to couch surfing. I think airbnb is too mainstream now, so this is a great way to meet down to earth friends from around the world. And see a bit of behind the scenes life in different places.
