I'm enthusiastic but laid back at the same time. I like good food and beer, interesting people, and adventures. I enjoy sharing stories, playing music, and spending time in the outdoors. People say I seem quiet at first, but really outgoing and friendly once you get to know me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet new people. Some of my best experiences have involved people I met by chance on the road. Couchsurfing lets me continue to meet interesting, passionate people.

Interests

Outdoors: epic mountain biking, hiking, international travel, want to get into sailing, generally spending as much time as possible outdoors.

Music: playing piano and guitar, bluegrass music, folk music, meeting new musicians

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three weeks sleeping out without a tent in the Australian outback while studying an ancient fossilized reef as an undergraduate.
