ABOUT ME

In zen, one should not create a dualist problem such as: you have to be the fork, bend the fork, the fork never existed, what fork? Oh, it was a spoon?.... wait, who didn't do the dishes?

I graduated with a Philosophy degree. Bet you can't tell. I still study language and the mind for fun. You should know the mind is freaking amazing!

In the past I've taught English in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I've taught in Hungary and Thailand too! I've been very lucky to be able to travel around the globe and see some pretty cool things and meet some really awesome people and couchsurfing has helped a lot with that.

Currently my job here in Chicago is PR and communications for a small firm I helped start.

I've been surfing for years but I never had a chance to give back. Now is the time for me to give back to the community and I am super excited about it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was saved from having only a desk to sleep under in Geneva by a couch-host. I am grateful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got lost in the Mountains of Romania and a Shepherd woman who fed cheese. Surfed in Spain. Climbed waterfalls in Guam. Slept in trees in Laos. Stood over the Tennessee Valley Gorge quite inebriated.

Teach, Learn, Share

I graduated with a philosophy degree. I can surf, sail, climb, camp, start a fire with sticks, string, and tender. I've been studying Psycholinguistics (crazy name) for a few years. I also can fix bicycles and I blew glass (art) for about five years.
