About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See and do everything!

ABOUT ME

Daniel and I have been married for two and a half years. We live in a two room studio between downtown San Diego and Hillcrest that we share with our fat, orange cat. We are workaholics but like to read books, drink red wine at the nearby wine bar, explore San Diego on our bicycles and travel in our spare time. Daniel works as a surfboard sander for Channel Islands and I work at the SD Naval Medical Center conducting mental health research.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love the idea of helping our fellow travelers travel cheaply and get off the beaten track. We host as often as we can without going insane and have been known to sleep on a couch or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had nothing but great experiences hosting people from around the world. We have couchsurfed in New Orleans and France.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like romantic comedies, Daniel likes horror films. I like true crime and non-fiction books and Daniel likes literary fiction. I like pop-rock music, Daniel likes everything from punk to classical. We have it all covered!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have seen and done some amazing things but among the most exciting have been watching a wild orangutan climb through the trees over our heads in Borneo, witnessing sea turtles lay eggs on the beach in Nicaragua and riding camels through the desert in Morocco.
