Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to be a host, but I'm actually 'home' so little, it's near impossible. For now, I'm looking to be a visitor, and to get more involved with community get-togethers, etc.

Interests

I shot a documentary and wrote a book on happiness. You can learn a bit about it if you'd like at http://www.50000milestohappiness.com/ - the film and book will be coming out in the next 3 months or so.

Outside of that, I just love to explore new cities and new people. I think we live in a world that's in desperate need of connection, and I'm trying to be a force for connection - hence the subject of my blog https://gettingfriendlywithstrangers.tumblr.com/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to travel to the Galapagos Islands in college and that was pretty amazing. I spent ten days on a boat going from island to island. But, I think my latest documentary project has somehow been even cooler. Looking forward to the next adventure, whatever it is.

I'm doing my best to learn Spanish, so any help in that area would be welcomed enthusiastically.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I used to be a comedian, so I can hopefully make you laugh a bit. I play guitar, so if you want some basic guitar lessons, I've got you covered. Outside of that, I'm pretty spontaneous, so if you say "Hey let's go jump off that cliff into the water!" I'll say "Great idea!" Consider yourself warned ;)
