Born in the UK, I have spent the last 25yrs or so cultivating my skills and experience in the wood industries, navigating the life independently, making me practical and pretty handy to have around...

Philosophy:
I appreciate character, humour, in jokes, sensitivity, integrity, healthy food, justice. I believe that art practice=life, but don't tell anyone.
Travelling lightly, exploring, asking questions, meeting new folk and sharing stories and ideas.
I feel most alive when on new ground, engaged in something I am invested/interested in, in the act of making/bringing something to life, learning, being on my bike, long walks.....to the fridge....

Jung say's, talking about yourself is fraught with impossibility.....To quote somebody else I like: If you look hard for meaning, you'll miss everything that happens. (A.T.)

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I am twenty five minute drive from Durham/Darlington train station, living in an idylic sleepy village. But not too far from civilisation...Mi casa su casa.

To offer a place to feel comfortable and help shed light on the possibilties when welcoming/hosting, help make arriving to new environments easier and celebrate our commonalities with local people from around the world. I could host, advise, meet-possibly greet, subject to my schedule, or maybe just grab a drink....or my very own off grid pizza in the park :)) with the aim to make travelling, visiting new places meeting up easier and much more enjoyable for us all
