About Me

My dream is to travel and explore this world as sustainable as possible so I can draw my own map.

We, as human, are social beings and it's always good to find some company while we are trying to find our own tracks. I think, all of us can learn something new from another as long as we are willing to. All we need is some empathy - an open ear and an open mind.

About me: I've just finished my studies in geography and sports on education there. I love to see new places, nature as well as human culture.
It helps me to get a clearer picture of this world and about what we’re doing here in the first place. It’s also great way to ‘do’ geography. The more you see and learn the more you can understand that everything and everyone is deeply connected somehow. Even though, it’s impossible to understand and see everything, I think it’s worth trying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is a great way to meet new people and to learn from locals who can show you around and help you to understand their culture a little better. Often it’s complicated to make the first step to encounter strangers, especially when you’re abroad. Therefore, CS I a great tool to bring people together.

I grew up in a big family with four siblings who supported me wherever they could and from who I’ve learned a lot. Also, I know that not everybody’s that lucky. For me it’s essential to support and help others whenever it’s possible. We are one big family and our home is the earth.

I think we should all spend more time helping each other and learning from each other instead of drifting into cyberspace too much. There’s a lot to see with those eyes we have been given. I like to share my experience and make friends around the world and wait for the time when I can finally get the chance to explore their places and visit them

Interests

I'm generally a curous person and want to learn more

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different stuff I guess. Always interested in something new. Also I love watching movies since it’s a great way experiencing something without actually leaving the spot. I prefer weird movies, art house dramas as well as strange comedy ones

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

3 month interrail (railway) trip through east Europe was crazy.
So were my 50 days in India.
I've spend around a year down under, backpacking and working at a high school.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is a lesson where everyone is a teacher and student at the same time. So there’s always something to teach and learn.

I like to talk about life and experiences itself, I guess, to exchange different points of view to get some new ideas and inspiration. I’d describe myself as an easy going person and I hope so are the chats with me.

Different cultures fascinate me and I like to adapt stuff as I like to see it all as one “human culture” that belongs to all of us. We should be open and learn from each other instead of conflicting. Feel free to teach me about different behaviors, habits and experiences. In exchange, I can tell you about my experiences and about what I know about my home country and culture.

As a former tourguide, i can also show you around in Hanover and show you my favorite spots and teach you about the history (not just of Hanover). As a geographer, I can teach you about landscape ecosystems, economics and culture. As an activist, I’d like to exchange how we can make the world a better place.

Eating together is one of the oldest human rituals and a sign of unity. Therefore, I like to share my (mostly vegan) meals and as a guest help and support wherever it’s needed. If you can cook something I haven’t had yet, that would be awesome too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try to help where I can and will do my best to be a respect- and thankful guest. I really appreciate when people spend time and share their stories with me or give me advices where to go or what to eat. We can share and exchange ideas and thoughts and I’d like to become a helpful friend if needed
