I'm 30 years old. I recently returned from living in Asia for five years as an ESL teacher, bartender, and drummer. I love animals and spending time outside. I'm an openminded person and I find common ground in a variety of social circles, provided those within are respectful.

I'm an appreciative and clean guest and if you provide me a sofa or spot on the floor, but don't feel motivated to host socially, I am happy to pass time independently. If you want to spend time hanging out, that's great, too!

I also have a travel hand drum I bring in case anyone ever wants to jam :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im traveling through Europe for the first time. I'm making the trip alone and eventually settling in Poland, where I'll begin a working holiday lasting until November. On the way, I need to budget carefully and I want to meet new people. I also really like the idea of people helping each other.

I haven't had my own place in which I could host someone since I joined couch surfing last year. When the time comes that I do, I look forward to hosting people myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found a street dog in Korea (친구/Chingu) and spent two years and all of my money fixing a very extensive list of medical and abandonment issues... then she snuck outside and got pregnant. I found homes for all of the puppies (and I kept the troublemaker pup named Wizard). When Chingu and Wizard finally got me in trouble by barking in my apartment, I had to fly them to Canada to give to my family. I love those dogs.
