ABOUT ME

Hi , I am probably a jack of all trades but regrettably a master of none but I will have a go at anything except bungee jumping now - as a kid I parachuted and ran marathons but as an older guy I get my kicks out of acting in musicals and singing in a band. Work? yes - a lot in many areas but work is just a means to an end , even if it means interviewing Hollywood actors .. more of that if you meet me !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am attempting to create a network of contacts around the world that can be based on genuine sharing . I hope one day to travel or that my daughters can travel and call on and even stay with the many people I have offered my space to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting in 2014 and have had a lot of great guests ( and some demanding ones). The ones who demand I forget quickly by accepting
another guest who I hope will understand that hosting is not an obligation - it's a sharing experience not a taking experience. I will message you prior to your arrival - I like to create a bond before you arrive. If you don't want me to communicate with you , then write to a different host.

Interests

sport, playing music, running drama workshops, learning languages.

Ken Follet - he is long and you only need to buy a book a year ! Music - what I can get to listen to in the car but I travel for ten minutes at a time it seems!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raised two daughters and run a business based wholly on satisfied recommendations.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach as a profession - English and theatre and am dead keen on improving my French , Spanish and Chinese.. and please please someone teach me Polish/German/Italian/Russian!!
