About Me

Hey! I’m Rob, I’m 25 and I’m from Dublin, Ireland 🇨🇮

I’ve been working as a Clinical Genetic Scientist for the past two years 🧬👨🔬 but I’ve now decided to quit my job and travel South America!

I’m an outgoing guy who loves exploring different cultures, trying various vegetarian 🌱 foods and experiencing new things!

Scuba diving is a passion of mine and I am a qualified PADI Rescue Diver 🤿🪸
On the weekends I love to hike in the mountains; I recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in June 🏔️ it was amazing!
I like to sing 🎶 and I also play some piano 🎹 (although I don’t get to practice much)

I also really enjoy partying with my friends and going to nightclubs till late 🕺 🪩 it’s all about balance ✨

I speak Spanish and I am currently learning Irish Sign Language 👋

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big Ariana Grande fan! Although I mostly listen to pop music, I do enjoy all types of music.
.
Music is a great way to get to know other cultures and I’d love hearing some traditional music from the countries I visit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I walked the Camino De Santiago in Spain. I did 125km over 5 days. It was an amazing spiritual walk and I gained so much from it! Staying in hostels every night and meeting new people each day getting to hear about their life stories was amazing!
It was a great achievement to complete it and you even get a certificate at the end!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about genetics and the field I work in 🧬

We can also have great conversations about culture, science, music, and past life experiences!

I can show you some songs on the piano and teach you some Irish phrases! ☘️

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my fun personality and have a laugh!
