Overview
About Me
I’m an easy going, adventurous Tasmanian guy who has travelled a fair bit both around Australia and overseas. I love Tassie and would like to be an ambassador for my island state. I wish more people would come and explore Tassie as we are often left off the map.
One of the great things about travelling is hanging out with locals and experiencing local life. I’d way rather visit places recommended to me by people native to the area than to be a tourist and only see famous landmarks. Travel is so much more enjoyable when there is a homely welcome.
I’m a carer for puppies in The Guide Dogs Association (for blind people) and a Spokesman and volunteer for the Leukaemia Foundation in Tasmania.
Semi retired, young at heart with a wicked sense of humour I’ll happily share my knowledge and adventures with you and look forward to you doing the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and meeting interesting people. My sister is a couch surfer and host also. I want to show off my beautiful state and share travel experiences.
