About Me
Hi
I'm Rob. In July 2018 I quit my London job of 10 years and in August I will be starting to cycle as far as I can around the world.
Having done a few years of weekend microadventures and UK bikepacking tours the moment has arrived for the now or never big adventure to see the world without a filter.
I'm setting off solo so will no doubt come to rely on this and other communities of tourers.
My interests are many; cycling (you'd hope) and travelling (of course), football and fishing and all outdoor pursuits. I like reading history, science and economics. Seeing the best of the natural world and wildlife. I like a drink, smoke and party too. Guaranteed to make me laugh: Karl Pilkington and David Shrigley.
I don’t like getting up but I’m getting used to it.
I'm new to couchsurfing, I heard great things about it through loads of cycling blogs. Looking forward to meeting like minded people and sharing tales from the road.
Thanks for reading
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
