ABOUT ME

I am an 80's child. I am a thoughtful, artistic, creative person. I have been a hair stylist for 15 years and have recently started my own line of printed t-shirts, with my illustrations. I also do art commissions, portraits and tattoo designs.
I enjoy live music, good coffee and meeting interesting people! I am quiet and a solitary type of girl.. I enjoy my own company, and thrive on heart-to-heart conversation, but also a fun noisy party once in a while! I love to dance too.

PHILOSOPHY

well... to always be honest in my dealings with those I meet.. to remain myself and to truly discover who "I" am through these experiences. to treat people fairly.. because that is how I want to be treated.

Because who can afford hotels all the time? haha!

Also though - I've met some amazing individuals by opening myself up to strange opportunities (i.e staying in someone's house) that as an introvert I'd never have opted for had I all the funds to go squirrel away in a hotel!

Intereses

my interests include foreign language films, reading good books, painting, sketching, traveling to interesting places.. I enjoy browsing markets, shopping and getting involved in the day to day of living in a country that is foreign to me.

Música, películas y libros

I've read many books and watched many films.. I will not go into all that except to say that I want to be transported out of myself when I read/watch.
Authors I respect and love are Haruki Murakami and David Sedaris. Maya Angelou. I always gravitate towards memoir and non-fiction.
I love foreign films for the way they are so un-Hollywood, however... a good rom-com always has its place!!
my music preferences vary widely but I don't really like pop/bubblegum and prefer to stick to my old classics like Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen.
Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Gary Clarke Jr.
Jazz and Blues I love. Motown, Soul, Electro, hip hop. If it's got a beat I'll dance to it.
Melancholic female artists too - Charlotte Day Wilson. You get the picture.

I have sailed the Carribean on a 36ft steel boat with 3 friends for 6 weeks..
ridden a motorbike around Namibia.
Held my sister's hand while gave birth to her daughter.
