About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Become a sound engineer, learn more about life/love/the world we live in

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in everything, even if I think it's pointless or just plain wrong. Knowledge is power, people.
I love finding out how other people conform to and break my pre-conceived stereotypes..

PHILOSOPHY

Ask questions, listen to the answers, look for opposing opinions to your own, find out why you think what you do, if we listened to people more the level of understanding in the world would increase immeasurably.
How do you know what you think you know?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started because I had a big empty house, and wanted friendly people to come fill it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a lovely couple, which filled me with confidence and restored my faith and trust that there are great people everywhere.

Interests

everything, seriously, if you're passionate about something, I want to hear it (not saying I might not disagree though!)

But in particular - music, film (I admit it: I'm a massive geek), philosophy, reason, critical thinking, politics, science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw whales cruising past off the coast of Byron Bay at Sunrise. Also, climbed the Dent D'Oche above Lake Geneva for my favourite view ever.
recklessly riding motorbikes we didn't know how to use around the mountains of N. Vietnam

Teach, Learn, Share

To make a fire in the wild, the best way is to make a bow out of a stick and a shoelace. A stone is used to apply the pressure on the stick that you spin by using the bow wrapped around the stick.

Or use a lighter.
