ABOUT ME

I started working for Delta Airlines in the summer of 2005. While I worked there I took advantage of the free flight benefits and traveled around the world every chance I got for a few years.

Now I have moved on into a another career. But I still enjoy traveling every chance I get. I had a personal goal to reach every continent by the time I am 30. My 30th birthday has come and gone and I didn't reach my goal. I'm not giving up...Maybe I'll make it by 40.

Traveling has taught me so much. I love going to new places and experiencing new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done plenty of couch surfing on my own through personal contacts and friends. My first official couch surfing experience that I set up through this site was for a trip to Honolulu Hawaii. I had a few days off from work. I got in touch with a guy in Hawaii then I jumped on a plane by myself and headed down there. Everything worked out great. I got a few days in the sun, and I met some cool people.

Since then I have hosted a few people and stayed with people in some other random places around the world. I even couch surfed in Russia. I met a great guy named Alex in Moscow. Alex really showed us what couch surfing is all about. It was a great experience and I plan to take full advantage of couch surfing in my future travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On of the most amazing days of my life was in Taupo New Zealand. My friend Mandy and I woke up at the hostel we were staying and set out on an adventure. We went to three different place. We jumped out of a plane over Lake Taupo, went white water rafting down a major river in NZ, and topped off the day by bungy juping into a canyon.
