关于我

CURRENT MISSION

Scout out areas for eventual world domination.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty calm and easy-going guy(most of the time).

I was born in the USA and lived there for most of my life until I moved to Germany and now Poland. Generally speaking I have a very international family and I am used to dealing with cultural differences. I am 100% polish, however I generally don't identify strongly with any particular country.

I study Psychology in Warsaw and I am in the process of writing my master's thesis. I love the city, even though at first glance people say it's ugly. I'd just say that Warsaw is an aquired taste and you really need to live here to appreciate it.

兴趣

Open-minded enough to be willing to try anything once. I like trying new things.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Went to Hamburg with a friend and spontaneously she got the idea to go to Amsterdam. We were gonna hitchhike to the city- neither of us had ever hitchhiked before. After a shaky start, we ended up in Groningen and found out that Holland has official hitchhiking stops. One kind lady later, we ended up dropped off at a highway gas station. I was a little worried that we weren't going to find anyone to take us, but lo-and-behold, we found a hippy van occupied by 2 stoner spaniards that would take us to Amsterdam.

Needless to say, the trip was awesome, even if we got a little paranoid that these guys were going to kill us and steal our organs. The city was beautiful and we spent a couple days exploring and visiting places.

The trip back, however, was even crazier. We left the city pretty late, finding an american lady that drove us to a gas station. It's getting dark and starting to rain, no one is willing to take us anywhere. Then all of a sudden, this SUV stops and asks us where we're going? We tell him and he offers to take us some of the way. It's already night and raining. He takes us to several trainstations in a few small dutch towns, but nothing will take us back to Hamburg. Running out of options, the guy says he'll take us to a hotel.

Not sure what to expect, we drive up to this really nice looking place. We leave the car with him up to reception. He tells us to wait while he handles things. He comes back and tells us he got us a room with breakfast and he's paying for it. We're amazed and at the same time we tell him he doesn't have to do this, but he insists. It turns out this guys is a multi-millionaire, being the owner of one of Hollands leading energy and gas companies. We end up staying at a high quality hotel for the night, waking up early to grab a train in the morning. Not bad for a first time hitchhike!
