Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing a lot back in the day. I surfed and I sometimes hosted and I met so many great people through this site and I made many fond memories. I have just recently re-activated my profile in the hope that I will be able to utilise it in some of my upcoming solo travel plans. I'm not in a position to host anyone, but i enjoy meeting new people and having interesting conversations. I'm looking to meet people while travelling or in my home city.

I'm a big music lover and some of my favourite artists are: Lana Del Rey, Lykke Li, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Chvrches, The Cranberries, Paramore. I also like some classical and folk music and anything from the 90s and early 00s.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I spent one year volunteering at an NGO in Spain where I helped at a centre that cared for people with HIV and AIDS.
- Learning to speak Spanish competently.
- Completing my Degree in Adult Nursing with a First Class Honour.
- Paragliding in the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia.
- Diving in the Red Sea amongst the amazing corals and marine life and wild dolphins.
- I sailed around the Scottish Isles on a Tall Ship.
