About Me

To prevent some misunderstandings, I'd like to mention some things in the beginning:
If you feel like feminism is discrimination against men or black lives matter is discrimination against white people, maybe we would not fit very well.

Also if you come to Berlin for party, good for you, but please search for another house. i'm also not very into showing you around Brandenburger Tor and all the touristic sites, I think any travel guide book is good for that, too.

For most other things I'm quite an open person.
I just finished my studies in biology in Berlin and with many other people i live in a self-organized community house. With a lot of people living here, there come a lot of guests and our guest spaces are almost all the time occupied, so it's quite difficult to host someone. Still, I might have some time to meet up somewhere or to show you one or two of my favorite places, go for a beer, talk about gentrification in Berlin, music of the last 100 years, genetics of Neanderthals, racist movements in Germany and many more stuff...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

sometimes it is helpful to already know someone in a country you want to visit before you get there and its nicer to meet the people living somewhere than staying in a hostel and meet all the other travelers. I also know the situation of being low on money and am happy to help other people in the same situation.

I hosted a lot when I was living in Greece and had a lot of nice experiences, but now my living situation makes hosting a little difficult.

Interests

i studied biology and i'm very interested in evolutionary science and behavioral/neuronal biology and also a little bit in chemistry
i am also mad about many different kinds of music, like to go to concerts and try to make some (more or less experimental) music alone and with others.
I do some woodworking in a workshop in our house and build and repair some furniture there.
i also like cooking/eating and hiking in the mountains
and i'm really a fan of self-organization, collectives and non-commercial stuff (also open-source technologies)
