Hey there,

I am Robert, the Co-Founder of PLEVENDO.

I am a very creative and communicative person. My interests range from football (playing for more than 20 years now - semi-professional for a few years) to actually all kind of sport. I am a very active person. Biking, running and a few years ago I fell in love with bouldering.

If you don't want to talk about sport, no worries. There is no topic I have nothing to say about. Social and environmental problems the society has to face, places I traveled and of course geopolitics. I really love to debate about opinions and learn new things every day.

I am not interested in fiction, TV, Movies and Series. I prefer real life...
So if you want to talk about what's going on in Game of Thrones or whatever, I am not your perfect fit.

I travelled to Asia, New Zealand and South America and lived for 6 months in Belgium.

I really like budget travelling and a kind of minimalism. I don't visit the tourist attractions and I am not willing to pay money to see stapled stones (often called: buildings) and privatised nature (private beaches, swimming in the sea or lake or walking through the woods). Nature belongs to everyone and we should not pay for it. We should just care!

I prefer having dinner @home. Cooking together instead of going somewhere. Firstly: It's cheaper and Secondly: The time to prepare the food is very good to talk. And as above said: I really like to talk.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

CS gives me the opportunity to get to know people from everywhere and get very interesting insights about the places.

Most of my travels I did with a few friends, and CS was always a good possibility to get in contact with locals.

I mostly met people without sleeping there. Sometimes we had our own camper and just met the people for a wald, dinner or whatever.
