Amy and I have been together since January 2018, and have spent the last year planning and talking about our dream adventure together.

We love London but can't seem to stay there for too long. We are both experienced backpackers and cant wait to travel through Central and South America (and learn to speak real Spanish).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The people you meet make a journey what it is. Stories are meant to be shared. We believe that if you understand and appreciate the impact that meeting other people can have on your trip you cannot go wrong.

More specifically, it is our long term plan to move to Spain and so we would love to confuse people there by looking British but sounding American :)

Lastly, we couldn't resist trying after hearing so many good things so...here goes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rob - I spent a week diving around the Komodo national park in Indonesia. On one dive I was surrounded by giant Manta Ray. They were circling a cleaning station right in front of me and sailed around me as if I was not there. I have never seen an animal with such majesty and grace.

Amy - I spent a week in a Wellness retreat in Paraty, Brazil. I have long lost family in Brazil and was able to reconnect with them in this incredible mountain setting. Hiking, yoga and a peace which has since been hard to recreate.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love any opportunity to cook our favourite dishes, or test out new recipes, for as many people as you can fit around a table.

We want to improve our Spanish and are happy to commit some time to a language exchange.

I can't speak for Amy but I love to Iron. Give me an ironing board and an iron and I'm happy for hours :)
