To gain life experience through local knowledge. To have a beer with the local of every location we visit as well as all his friends.

ABOUT ME

We are living in beautiful Tasmania where our house is a two minute walk from the beach and around 20-30 minutes from the CBD. We had the pleasure of being introduced to couchsurfing on our 6 month trip in 2006. We'd like to return the favour. We just got married and are loving being settled in our little house in the best part of the world!!! We both lead extremely busy lives. We're attempting to rectify this but it's proving difficult with full time work, awesome friends and family and study commitments. As such we often aren't about long enough to have people stay but we do our best to help out where possible. We're more than happy for people to crash at our place but we might not be around to get to know you very well so you'll have to expect that if you stay at ours!! If we can't help with a couch we'll try to with collecting you from the airport or catching up for a beer and some advice about Tas.

PHILOSOPHY

Hayley - I believe in Karma to a certain extent therefore I try to put out positives when I can. Of course this doesn't always happen-I have my grumpy days:(

Rob - Loves sport, play basketball but am into most sports from football to hurling, love a beer at the pub or at home with good music. Walking our dog - Charlie, on the beach
Hayley - My nephews and niece(the cutest four little people to roam the earth), music - listening to it, singing it in the shower, collecting new sounds, spreading the sounds of my favourite Aussie bands. Would also like to get back into playing it - clarinet and tenor sax...one day i hope. Also interested in the human body (I'm a nurse so I guess that's natural).

Hayley - Music wise it's Metallica (saw them live a couple of years back and was one of the best times of my life), Pearl Jam,John Mayor, Van Morrison, Dave Gray, Missy Higgins, Bernard Fanning, the Waifs, Cat Empire, Gorillaz, Guns and Roses, Hilltop hoods and on it goes...
Books, I love to read but often run out of time to.
