Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have been active both as hosts and guests. We STRONGLY recommend that you build up a number of references, be verified and have good reviews. As of late there have been too many requests from people who "joined" very recently with no references, friends or reviews and who all seem to be in desperate need of immediate domicile. Couch surfing simply isn't the place for that. So without a CS history, we probably cannot honour your request. Let's keep our CS community open, friendly and safe.

After three years in the employ of the US Army, i, uh..@retired@ to Sweden and compl;eted my formal education - and a bit of my informal one too! Five years later moved to Southern Sweden and raised our kids, growing all of our own food. I was a professional beekeeper there for many years. Late 1970's started with computers and built up a pretty successful small consulting firm which kept me liquid for a few decades. Came back to the USA to help an ailing parent so today I am a Stranger in a Strange Land.
