ABOUT ME

I'm a social, easy-going and active. I run, I dive, I hike, I climb, I watch movies, I write. I love being outdoors, both in the mountains and in the ocean, but at the end of the day do like kicking back with a good movie. After finishing Film Studies in The Netherlands I realized that I didn't feel like starting a career yet. So instead of getting a 9 to 5 job I packed my bag and left the country. I've been traveling for a year and a half now and it has been an amazing adventure.

Interests

Movies, traveling and outdoor-sports. I'm a pretty all-round guy. I will go trail-running in the morning, visit the museum of modern art in the afternoon and end the day with a visit to the cinema to see the latest Hollywood blockbuster before hitting the pubs.

Ooooooh, boy. This is a big one. I love discussing movies and books, both the ones I love and the ones I hate.
For movies, favorites include: The Big Lebowski, Amelie, Garden State, Breakfast at Tiffany's and many many more!
For books, favorites include: American Gods, The Graveyard Book, A song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter and many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise over Poon Hill in Nepal. Simply breathtaking. Climbing Thorung-La Pass in the Annapurna range was very special too. Nearing 5000m air REALLY does get very thin.
