About Me
*See below
I'm a curious person who likes to have conversations beyond small talk. I'm drawn to people who are multi faceted, I get inspiration from anyone who is courageous to follow their dreams and take risks. I admire people who wear their faults up front. I believe strongly in owning up if you've fucked up. I like to focus on the positives.
I'm at university studying a Bachelor of Social Work.
* Please note we offer a MAX of 2 night stays, also generic copy and paste requests will not be accepted. Sorry to have to mention this but it happens frequently.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to connect with people I think couch surfing is rich for that
I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and hearing about the city they live in and to experience a piece of life different from my own. The couchsurfing community is a real privilege to be a part of and serves as a good reminder that despite all the terrible things that happen around the world there are plenty of warm and generous people.
Meeting different people remind you that life isn't all about jobs and careers (although that can be interesting too)
For all the laughs and good times to be had, they're best shared with friends, old and new.
Interests
I'm a pretty active guy who likes to get out and about. I enjoy camping, hiking, bike riding, cooking and being around good company. I also play bass and a bit of drums too. I've travelled fairly extensively and enjoy checking out places that are off the beaten track

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled around South America for 4 months in 2015/2016. In particular doing some super remote stretches in Peru and Chile
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty passionate about vinyl, I've built up quite the collection covering rock - soul - electronic - funk
Share experiences of tour guiding around the west coast of Australia, Perth - Exmouth.
Teach you about AFL, a must if you visit Melbourne!
I've got quite a few musical instruments around the house, you're welcome to have a hit of my drums.
At home we actively support the environment with composting, recycling soft plastics and try to minimise our global footprint as well.
