About Me

Consciousness living a human experience. Inviter of change. Ecologically attentive entrepreneur.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the power of shared experience, community and connection to local people and places. I love feeling part of the wider planetary family, making new friends and contributing positively to other peoples lives.

Interests

I'm interested in anything that speaks the truth, and that offers us a chance to learn from direct experience - like meditation and magic e.g. karma. I'm open to not knowing, and try to learn from every lesson life has for us...although sometimes it takes more than one teaching...!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book to date is Charles Eisenstein's ' The More Beautiful World our Hearts Know is Possible' - it really was / is a life changer. I enjoy all types of music. Right now I love Glitch hop and artists like CloZee and Brian Hartman. Unbelievably good to dance to. I'm a sucker for science fiction movies, but I'll watch anything that feels authentic and tells a good story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year travelling, July '17 - Jun '18 through the states and central america; work-trading for bed and board, meeting new family, learning about myself, rising in love with another, living and contributing in intentional communities - a life changing experience that I am so grateful for.

Teach, Learn, Share

Before reacting to what someone says, pause and think: How does it feel to be them?

Think of people as your comrades, and they will become your comrades. Think of them as enemies and they will become them.

The grass is never greener on the other side. You will have to learn this multiple times, you are not alone.

Gauge your achievements by your own standards. Don’t look to others for approval.

It’s ok to cry. Anyone who tells you otherwise has not really lived.

The Earth is alive. Treat it like you would any other living being.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a Mindfulness Meditation and Nonviolent Communication practitioner. I also run my own small marketing agency working with eco-centric organisations, and would be happy to give advice on digital marketing and organisational effectiveness. More recently, I have taken up acting and am now getting parts in commercials and tv series like Outlander.
