Yoooo! My name's Robbie, i'm a 24 year old from Scotland. I study Sports engineering in the amazing city of Glasgow, Scotland. I grew up in a seaside town called stonehaven which is the north east coast of scotland and then i moved to Glasgow for university when I was 18. However I haven't lived in scotland for nearly 2 years now, as i've been lucky enough to experience study abroad... I spent last semester in the city of Lulea, in Northern sweden where I had the most amazing experience of my life. I then headed for the other end of europe - where I lived and studied in Malta! Just now I live in Germany. I work for Adidas (the awesome sports brand ;) & I am about to move to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to work for adidas there for 6 months. Before this, I hope to travel and explore Indonesia! I'm a very enthusiastic, outgoing and vibrant person who loves experiences new exciting places, products and cultures. My favourite thing in the world is probably to meet new people, as its how I've made most of my best friends :) I have a deep love for WANDERLUST (google it!)

For the simple reason that i love meeting new people, making new friends and experiencing new cultures. I feel couch surfing opens up the opportunity to meet people with a similar outlook on life as me... very friendly people willing to open up and learn more about others and make new friends, as well as being genuinely kind and helping people out.

兴趣

I'm obsessed with sports, of all kinds! I play squash and football at a competitive level, I used to represent my national team for squash when I was 14 years old until 17. I'm interested in product design and sports therefore I got to study the fantastic course of sports engineering, allowing me to develop my skills in product design and engineering. And obviously I love traveling... after maturing after the past few years travelling to new place has really opened my eyes and shown me how amazing our planet is and how much there is out there to see! Im a big music fan, especially electronic music, consisting of house music and techno. Some of my favourite dj's are Ame, Henrik Schwarz, Derrick Carter, Carl Craig and Dusky!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spent the weekend on a desolate archipelago island in northern sweden, with 8 of my best friends, where we stayed in an awesome cabin that had no running water or electricity! It was a lot of fun and for sure an amazing thing i've done! Snowboarding in the Colorado mountains!
