About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To become a professional counselor / coach.
ABOUT ME
I was born in England, but left at age 8 and grew up all over the world. I currently live on the north shore of Kaua'i.
I go after my dreams and my heart's calling which has made for an interesting and wild ride that I wouldn't change for the world.
I do what I feel called to do as well as what is needed. This has included private tutoring in maths and sciences, dish washing, bar tending, fruit picking, english teaching, volunteering, interior designing, landscape gardening, yoga instructing, men's group hosting, counseling, studying, and running a bed & breakfast.
PHILOSOPHY
Reason with the mind. Feel with the heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed couches, met people to travel with, made some good friends through CS and host when I am able to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing.
Interests
watching the sun rise. running free. walking down crowded streets with headphones on. dancing. drumming. yoga. taking a nap in the afternoon when it's raining outside. snuggling up in clean sheets after a shower. waking up to the sound of birds singing. tasting something sour and having that salivary explosion. laughing from true joy. crying from true joy. wide open spaces. singing on motorbikes. eureka moments. smiling at strangers. reading in coffee shops. looking up at the stars. long walks at night. meditating. dawn. full moons. experiencing music. going crazy. making love.
travel.
"we travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. we travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. we travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. and we travel, in essence, to become young fools again -- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more."
