ABOUT ME
I am a teacher born and raised in Sydney, Australia. I studied Business and Law at university and worked briefly as a lawyer before my love for education made me pursue an offer with the Teach for Australia program in Canberra.
I now live in Brighton, United Kingdom.
I love helping people and I am passionate about education as the best way to improve the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Every person is a complex individual. I hate stereotypes and like to find out the details that really define each person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I wish to meet the people of the world and experience the amazing cultures that define us. Couchsurfing has provided me with some fantastic experiences and I'm hoping to repay the favour now that I'm settled in my own place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in Edinbrugh, Madrid, Gotenburg and Pisa. All of these experiences have been wonderful! Since arriving back in Australia, I have met some wonderful people through the monthly couch-surfing drinks in Sydney. I have showed them around certain parts of my city and met up with many for picnics and drinks. What a fantastic community!
Interests
I love meeting people and learning about themselves and their views on the world. I love sharing fantastic ideas.
I like talking about education, politics, law and philosophy over a glass of scotch, I like exchanging favourite bands and sharing jokes over a beer, and I like reminiscing about life over a glass of red wine. (Alcohol is a preference, not a requirement)

Music, Movies, and Books
I appreciate all kinds of music, but my favourites are classic rock and classical music. My experiences in Europe have opened my mind to the fantastic world of EDM.
I like reading espionage novels and non-fiction books on business, leadership, education and similar topics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting on a mountain near the Scottish highlands sipping single malt scotch. Amazing experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love showing people how to play basic guitar or piano - I would be happy to learn more advanced guitar off a very skilled player.
I can also share my knowledge of business, law, education and philosophy from my studies and experience.
