About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people, study music and explore new cultures and lifestyles. I' m currently traveling around the world as a street performing artist.

ABOUT ME

I'm an international musician/performer and teacher, currently traveling the great cities of the world to explore new cultures and meet interesting people.
When I'm not teaching or touring I travel as street performer, busking at festivals and events wherever I go. I enjoy connecting with people through music and art, especially people who have a passion for what they do...whatever that may be.
I'm always up for a good coffee, a glass of wine and stimulating conversations with like-minded people.
Trying to maintain a balance of mind, body and spirit is one of my life goals, as well as learning to love all people unconditionally.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people like you want to be treated, respect others and the world around you. Travel light, give what you can and take only what you need. Don't get too attached to material things. Make decisions based on love and faith instead of fear. . these are all concepts I try to live by. I am still learning new things everyday

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by great couch surfers in many countries and I think it's the absolute best way to travel. Ultimately it's the people that make the place, and CS is the best way to connect with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don´t watch TV since I went on a media fast 15 years ago but I do enjoy a good movie now and then. I don't read many books these days either because most of my free time is spent studying/playing music. I like all kinds of music as long as it's done well with a high level of talent and energy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Michelangelo and Botticelli exhibits in Florence, Italy and rode a gondola in Venice.
In Australia I walked across the Sydney Harbor Bridge and para-sailed off the New South Wales coast.
I traveled around Europe for 5 years with only a backpack and guitar, busked in 12 different countries, and never had one bad experience.
I learned to tango in San Telmo, Buenos Aires Argentina and I stood on the balcony of the Casa Rosada (where Evita gave her famous speeches)
I survived Las Fallas in Valencia, Spain(twice!)
I made it through 5 days and nights of a Vipassanna meditation seminar in complete silence. (to be continued...)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar and bass, music technology, a little Spanish, and English. I can share aspects about the different cultures and lifestyles that I discovered in my travels.
I can also cook up some pretty good international cuisine. I'd like to learn more guitar (a never ending quest)and some new yoga moves. I'm also interested in learning more about sustainable living and holistic medicine.
