About Me

I am from the Republic of Bashkortostan (a region within Russia). Now I am an exchange student at Otero College (La Junta, Colorado).
I like travelling a lot, so I would like to use this opportunity and travel as much as possible around Colorado and other states.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a unique opportunity to travel all over the United States, meet new interesting people and learn new things about the world around me. So I decided to try it.
I am very interested in learning more about the world around me, about different places, peoples, their lifestories and cultures. Therefore, it would be very involving for me to learn something new from the hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to all kinds of music in different languages.
I like to watch different movies and TV series, but my favorite TV series is Game of Thrones.
As for books, I like history books and especially fantasy books: "A Song of Ice and Fire" and other books by George R. R. Martin, "The Lord of the Rings" by J. R. R. Tolkien, "The Witcher" by Andrzej Sapkowski and "The Sword of Truth" and other books by Terry Goodkind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am eager to learn as much as possible about the United States, about different states, cities and cultures from the locals because I am sure that only through interaction with the locals you can truly explore another culture!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell hosts about my homeland, about Russia, about its various regions and ethnic groups, about Russian culture and the culture of different indigenous peoples of Russia.
I know Russian history well, as well as the history of my people and the history of the Republic of Bashkortostan, where I come from, so I can tell a lot about our history and culture.
And, of course, I can bring some souvenirs from my country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, India, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
