About Me

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

I'm a very adventurous, laid-back guy who loves exploring new places and trying new experiences. Like many people on here I've travelled and lived around the world; nothing makes you grow more than living in a new country.

I especially love exploring the outdoors, including most adventure sports. Not much is better than getting the adrenaline flowing in a beautiful place.I like having deep, stimulating conversations about most topics, so I'm always happy to meet people who are freethinkers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people when I'm travelling or at home. One of the best aspects of travelling is the people you meet, so couchsurfing is a great community to be a part of.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ask me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed up the highest mountain in Indo-China in the middle of the monsoon season. We spent a day and a half slogging up the mountain in the driving rain, avoiding razor sharp bamboo and climbing up rocky stream beds which had turned into miniature waterfalls in the deluge. When we finally reached the top the fog was so thick we could only see about 5 meters ahead. No picturesque view and sweeping panorama for us unfortunately.
Still it felt amazing to have reached the top.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you practice English and give you a few pointers. I can also help you understand the world famous British sense of humour. :D

I can teach you how to survive exploring ruined cities in the jungle, including how to climb up pyramids without falling off: not to mention how to avoid deadly ancient booby-traps!

I've meditated for years and can share some of my techniques with anyone who wants to try, it's one of the best ways to completely relax.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll be happy to cook for you if you are prepared to take the risk!

I like to share adventures, experiences and go exploring with new people, so if you have time we can visit some
interesting places.
I'm usually quite a sociable guy, so most of all I can share my company and a good time.
