I feel that the best way in which i could summarise myself would be as a friendly and enthusiastic "yes man". I attempt to put forward a positive attitude as i am aware of the contagious nature an influence such as this can have. I am travelling the US both prior and after i part-take in the international exchange program between UNCW and my home university UoN (University of Newcastle) however although this is "technically" the reason that i come to the states, the real motive is to create as many awesome stories as i can before returning home to finish uni and part take in the inevitable 9-5 grind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I simply wish to attempt to enhance my travel experience by surrounding myself with fun and welcoming people who enjoy having a chat and maybe even share a beer or two. I feel that couch surfing will make it possible for me to experience true American hospitality whilst simultaneously allowing me to showcase how grateful, appreciative and not to forget humorous us Australians can be.

Music, Movies, and Books

In relation to music, my taste encompasses a very large spread, mainly top-40 mashed up with a drizzle of EDM however one must never disrespect the classics especially those of a timeless nature.

Movies: Legendary films such as Pulp fiction, Shutter Island, Star Wars and the Transformers ensemble all spring to mind although Netflix never fails to further my enlightenment by providing me with films and T.v shows that i just can't get enough of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It can be difficult to look at ones own actions from an objective standpoint and classify them as "amazing" purely based on self evaluation without feeling self-indulgent or egocentric however i would say that the most amazing thing that I have been able to achieve is simply the formulation of real and lasting relationships between myself and the people i consider to be my friends. Consistency, sincerity, and openness may sound like relatively simple concepts however the ability to be able to maintain all 3 simultaneously is one this which when achieved creates a friendship worthy of the title "amazing"

And Music festivals, music festivals are always amazing and never fail to disappoint, potentially the best thing society has created since sliced bread.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach; I offer cultural awareness classes that inform my hosts as the the real dangers of life down under as opposed to those popularised within the media, my specialised knowledge although satirical by nature offers a unique perspective based on real experiences that could serve you and your family well should you ever possess the desire to explore the vast land that is down under.

Learn; As the description above states i am a "yes man" which essentially translates into being open to anything that the world is willing to throw at me. The more i can learn, the more i can discover and the more i can take away will only result in me being able to share more with the people i meet further down the track, please if there is anything on offer, throw it at me cause i am all for it.

Share; My stories, my friendship and my gratitude initially, although i can be quite a wizard when it comes to the kitchen and i'd be more than happy to provide food for those who provide me with a bed. "A fair trade one might say"

What I Can Share with Hosts

Essentially i will be willing to share whatever i can so long as it is reasonable ad within my means, meals, threads, laughs, stories and good times all come to the forefront of my mind however should the situation require anything more substantial i can't see and reason as to why arrangements couldn't be made.
