Hi I'm Rob. I'm tall, relaxed and quiet - a bit like Snoop Dogg. I like music, films, books, curry, animals. I want to travel, explore and hopefully meet some cool new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted my first couple and enjoyed it. Currently can't host but hopefully will again one day. I plan to travel as much as humanly possible (starting now)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Japan, which obviously was great. And Iceland - also great.

Interests

Music. I play guitar for a rock band, and another band which can only be described as jazz-punk. I'm also something of a rapper. Teaching myself piano too but I'm probably too old to learn anything new now.

I write a lot, not just music but also working on a novel.

Sometimes I get drunk and/or play Super Mario. That's pretty fun.

I like a lot of films, especially old films, foreign films and surreal films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the site of the Battle of the Somme, it was covered in snow and I fell down a big hole.

Climbed an active volcano in Japan, fell down a big cliff.

Someday I will complete my dream of falling down something on every continent.

UPDATE: Had a small fall on a mountain in Iceland and hurt my ankle!
