Together with my wife Samia I live in the beautiful city of Aachen, in Germany. As a Dutch native I still work in the Netherlands (Aachen is just a 5 min drive away from the Dutch border) as a recruitment consultant. So, are you an engineer and also looking for a job in the Netherlands, maybe I can host you and recruit you at the same time ;-). In my spare time I study for my masters title in Heerlen, the Netherlands. I am also active in sports, fitness and basketball. No, I am not 2 meters but I just love to shoot some hoops!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to learn more about the background story of the country you visit. It gives you an insight on local hotspots like food, nice places to visit and great festivities to participate in!

Samia and me made a lot of new friends around the globe by using Couchsurfing, and we love to share experiences with people!

Interests

I play basketball, so a big fan of the NBA (go Timberwolves!). Because of my recruitment position I love innovation and to mean something for people. My masters studies also gives me insights on management related topics, keeps me smart :).

And my biggest crush (behind Samia of course) is travel. I backpacked through Central America, did an internship in Cape Town and since my girlfriend is from Bangladesh I am finally gonna see more of Asia :).

Rap, hiphop, r&b and latin music. Oh yes, I love urban music!! Try to visit rap concerts as much as I can.

We also have a subscription for a local movie theater. Especially love the Marvel movies :).

Doing my internship in South Africa. First time I left Europe alone and gained a lot of life experience and long lasting friendships.
