Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I started Couchsurfing I initially did it as advice from a friend to check out. As time passed and I had more guests and encounters with people, from all over the country, all over the world. I realized that this was a culture and something I love. I have met so many great people with many stories. I have made lifelong friends, some that pass by and never see again, but most we keep in touch, some we have met up in other places or traveled together on adventures. The people, stories and adventures are priceless. It is a way of life for me.

So since I live in a location just a few blocks from the beach. I do CS because I am interested in making new friends around the country and globe that I vibe with. I like to learn first hand about other cultures, I am a very outgoing person and I love to meet new people. I travel to the US and other parts of the world for work.I am always open to having guests and I do house swapping with others as well for periods of time. I have hosted a lot of people but have not been a guest that often.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music but not a big country fan. I play guitar so I love Rock of all genres, I like artist type music, house music etc as well.

I love anything you can sing to or groove toI like to watch comedies mostly as I like to laugh. I like anything that looks like it was well thought out and has the purpose of the artists soul in it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled the US in almost all areas doing photoshoots for models, catalogs and magazines etc. I have surfed (meaning surfed waves) in different places as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a full time Fashion Photographer and Videographer for some fashion TV stations. As well as I have done some independent films. I am looking to do more of this. I surf when I am not working almost daily. I love to play guitar and sit around with people who like to have cool conversations. I love to talk with other artists, and people with passion for what they do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to give of the things I have been lucky enough to have.

As a host as long as I have the time I am always willing to show you around, and give you the locals view of what my town is about.

Photography, Videography, Guitar, Surfing, Good Conversations. Laughs and Sarcasm. I have a pretty open-door policy and I am very trusting of people if I get the right vibe. I have a room in my place that is occupied 50% of the time when its not you can sleep in that room. Otherwise, it's the couch or another setup. But you will always have your own privacy is always respected.

I live a few blocks from the ocean and only a few miles from historic downtown Saint Augustine.

If I host, I can spend sometime hanging out, however I like to know that people once we are acquainted can do there own thing if needed as I can't always get away. So you can have fun on your own as well!
