About Me

Apologies for the poor response rate, i have been away for a time and they have rather stacked up. I am active atm and hosting :)

I'm a 25 year old student from the United Kindom, currently living and working in London. I have just returned from studying a masters degree in Barcelona and Prague.
I would consider myself a social, outward going fun sort of a chap, however its not really for me to say! I'l host you and you can make your own mind up!

I should note my place in London is really small, so i can only really host 1 person, perhaps 2 if you don't mind being really close but my place is pretty tiny :( Im happy to share it and the location and area are great, so I spend almost no time here anyway. I live in Islington so there is no end to stuff you can do around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was encouraged to join by my friends who use the website a great deal, I lived in a flat with 3 other couch surfers and we have guests almost every night, hosting the most amazing people from all around the world. I joined after having the pleasure of being hosted throughout the Baltic States by couch surfers, an area and peoples i would encourage everyone to travel too and meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite Books:
A really tough question, a topic on which i could talk for hours. So i shall be brief.

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov - a consummate piece of satire written in a most interesting period of Russian history.
Aunts Aren't Gentlemen by P G Wodehouse - An English literary comic genius.
The Glass Bead Game / Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse - A most exceptional author.

Favourite Music:

No real preference, I can happily swing from J S Bach to Drum & Bass, from Bob Dylan to London Grime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent many months in the sublime nation of Japan, somewhere everyone should visit if they get the chance. A most welcoming and lovely country, with the most incredible food i have ever eaten in my whole life, however not for the faint of heart. A favourite memory was drinking in a small bar in Ueno and eating delicious raw chicken Sashimi, there is no such thing as bad food in Japan.
