About Me

Hi everyone! I’m a 32 years old traveller from Germany. After my travels and finally having my own flat in Munich I decided to start hosting people from other countries.
Before writing a request for staying I want you to read this:
I’ll be hosting people only on the weekends. For both of us having a good experience it’s best to agree on at least staying for two nights. I just don’t want people to have a free night. In my view that’s not the purpose of Couchsurfing. If things work out good between us we can also talk about extending the time.
When you write your request tell me a bit more about you, why are you coming to Munich or what would you like to see/do while you’re here.

A bit more about me:
I enjoy good conversations especially when doing things we both enjoy. While I loveeeee hiking, jogging, swimming and most outdoor activities, I equally enjoy cooking, a good book, and a quiet night in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get to know people and learn about their culture and personalities. Everyone has their own stories and I am always, always intrigued by each and every single one of them. That’s why I think Couchsurfing is a good way to make every travel no matter if short or long special.
When hosting people I love to show them my culture and make their travel a little bit more special.

Interests

Oh my god where should I start😅:

I love sports such as running, swimming and cycling. I'm really into any endurance sport. But I also like tramping, abseiling or scuba diving. Yep, im an outdoorsy person😁
I also love playing card and board games. My favorite board games are Pandemic and Ticket to ride. Spent many long nights playing with other hosts.
Another thing I like to do is volunteering. So far I worked for 3 months in a bird sanctuary in NZ and was a Visitor Information Assistant in the Yosemite NP in USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books from Stephen King, Bill Bryson and Yuval Noah Harari.
But I also like to read what people recommend me. It's always good to have a broad range of everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Releasing a kiwi into the wild
- climbing up the highest mountain in Austria
- hitchhiking in a plane

Teach, Learn, Share

As I liked to cook I can share meals and cool recipes I brought home after my travels. In the US I came it contact with kombucha. Ever since I’m home I’ll started making my own kombucha. If you’re lucky you can try it and see if you like it or not.
I’m also happy to show you the city’s treasures. Trust me it’s not just beer gardens. During the summer I’m always hiking and can also take you with me and show you the area.
