About Me

Hi everyone,

I've recently returned to the US after spending the past two years abroad in Taiwan. I'm currently interviewing with companies in San Fran and NYC. I love to explore new ideas, places, and learn from others. I love to share stories, experiences, and good laughter.

I'm really into fitness and physical health, and love trying new outdoor activities.
Always down for a fun time! I'm pretty social and easy going!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling for job interviews and trying to get the most out of my week in the city. This is my first time traveling out to San Francisco (and California), so I'm really excited to see what life is like in the city.

I've always found that staying with a local resident provides a much better understanding of what life is like in a city, compared to staying in a hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Evanescence, P!nk, Yanni, Sam Smith, Andrea Bocelli-- my music is pretty eclectic.

Pirates of the Caribbean, Mrs. Doubtfire, Avatar,

Lots of International Relations/Political Science books on China, the US, Europe, etc. I'm currently reading a half dozen books on business, tech, startups, sales, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to climb the Great Wall of China, but not the normal touristy part. I went with friends to a part of the wall a few hours outside of Beijing. We had to climb and haul our gear up the Wall, in the rain, and set up camp. We stayed the night in one of the old guard towers. It was an incredible, freezing, opportunity.

A blog post from some of my travels in Taiwan. Unfortunately, I stopped writing, but these are some highlights.
