Overview
About Me
At the moment, I'm a nursing student constantly traveling back and forth between Los Angeles and Lone Pine. I grew up in Los Angeles, went to school in Long Beach, lived in the onion fields of the Antelope Valley for 4 years, but found serenity in the Eastern Sierras :). I'm really easy going, tolerant, and love meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use my house for Airbnb and in between guests I like to make improvements on the home but in a small town like Lone Pine, I need some help! Plus I enjoy socializing with people and meeting people out of town.
Interests
My favorite style of cooking is replicating era dishes (currently, plantation food is my obsession). I love to just open up a cookbook, get an idea of what the recipe is trying to create, and allow my mood to bring forth nutritious offerings!
I know *a little bit* about wine (and beer) and enjoy tasting at wineries when given the opportunity. Barbara, Pino Noir, and Zinfandel are some of my favorite varietals. I also believe Merlot is under rated.
I try to supplement grocery shopping with food that I grow my self. Fall of 2016, I'm giving a shot at hydroponics, mostly greens.
I also brew beer. I wish I could bring it with me but no flying with liquids... all the more reason for you to come and visit me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Conor Oberst ~ Queen
Movies: I'll watch anything, but I hate horror movies and alien movies.
Books: I have always loved the fantasy genre. Modern fiction, historical fiction. I can't read dated science fiction though, the discussion of "the future" with dated technology is a pet-peeve.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've made blue-ribbon jelly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little about a lot of different things...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook dinner for you! Let me know what you'd like to have and I'd love the opportunity to give back!
