Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a guest, because I find it way more inspiring to stay with locals and do what the locals do as opposed to just being a "normal" tourist, visiting sights etc.
As a host, because I enjoy meeting interesting people and don't mind organising activities for them from time to time.

Moviewise anything but horror is fine usually. I particularly enjoy drama, science fiction, comedy and fantasy.
In terms of music I enjoy anything but the same popsong everyday. Lately I've been listening mostly to the perhaps not that well known bands Manu Delago, Parov Stelar and Kent.
I'm a newspaper guy, so really slow on books... Ken Follet novels are among my favourites.
