I love to play boardgames. Bit I’m equally fond of everything with a flavour.
So the perfect match is of course food, snacks and/or drinks and board gaming. A great social time. Why shouldn’t one have fun and play board games while doing every persons necessity of eating?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new friends in places I’m going to. And I’m confident that a friend, even a new never before meet friend, can help me find the gems on the current location better that me surfing the web or asking the local tourist office.

As a sailor I have quite a good deal possibilities to end up in towns I never been before.
This seems at first glance to me as a great extension of those visits.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Just about anything. Singer songwriters, country, jazz and house might be a few of the strongest candidates.

Movies: Love Sci-fi, space and time. But really. A good movie is a good movie. I’ll watch just about anything.

Books: From now on its mostly Storytel. But I like books with a bit of philosophy of life. Think of Joestein Gaarder and Paul Coelho.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you like to learn yourself the rules of a new board game. But don’t care to plot through s huge rule book. Well, for me it’s like meditating to read it.

Happy to both learn and share cooking advices. Like rulebooks, cooking is a form of meditation for me.
