Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing, because I want to travel in a different way and get to know the local people even more. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get in contact with new people during traveling. On the other side, I want to give people the chance to stay for a while in my home to share experiences and maybe the daily life. So I can get some new input - hear their stories and learn something about their home countries and their culture. Or just to spend some nice moments together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job, my apartment, unnecessary insurances to go travelling with a one-way ticket.

I swam with sea turtles in the ocean, which was some kind of magic for me. I just looked at this peaceful and gentle creatures and I lost every feeling of space and time.

Cycled 28000 km by bicycle in one year.
