Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a fairly inexperienced traveler--I flew for the first time at 26--but I'm hoping to change than and meet new an interesting people.

Interests

Sports (particularly basketball and cycling), reading, and playing board games with friends. I'm hoping to get into gardening and cycling when I have a bit more free time.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
My musical tastes are fairly eclectic, but after living in Ohio I grew to like authentic bluegrass. I have a soft spot for the Rolling Stones and early 2000s hip hop.

BOOKS
I've been reading a decent amount of Murikami lately: Kafka on the Shore, After Dark, 1Q84, and the Elephant Vanishes. Roald Dahl is probably my favorite author. I particularly like his adult short stories. They have the same dark humor as his children's books, but with adult themes.
